Even though it had been so hot, by the time Rittō (the beginning of winter) arrives, the air turns cold as if right on schedule — I can really feel the natural rhythm of the changing seasons.
To express the feeling of entering winter,
I tried writing “立冬 (Rittō)” with ink so faint it’s almost like water.
It’s mostly just water, but the slight touch of ink still brings out the shape of the characters beautifully.
Do you think this “立冬” captures the chilly atmosphere of early winter?＾＾
