Recently, we have been receiving more inquiries about calligraphy experiences from tourists. I had already felt that the number was increasing since last year, but it has grown even more since the beginning of this year.

Today, we would like to introduce Antony and Morgan, who visited us from France last summer. 😊
Antony loves Japanese culture and even runs a Japanese language circle. Since I am not very comfortable speaking English, he kindly spoke with me in Japanese. 😊
The word Antony chose to write was “Soul (魂)”.
Morgan, on the other hand, chose “Peace (平和)”, a wish shared by people everywhere. ✨
Although Morgan does not understand Japanese, her brushwork was actually even better than Antony’s! She clearly has a natural talent for calligraphy.
As you might expect from two people who truly love Japan, they created beautiful works of calligraphy. 👏
